YogaForVets.Org was formed in 2007 as an introduction to the study and practice of Yoga and Meditation as a way

to manage PTSD and TBI.  Since then, YogaForVets has supported  individual teachers and many of the mainstream

yoga/military non-profit organizations by offering online support of resources, and during 911, expanded to include

our First Responders.  The success of experiencing strength, balance and peace of body, mind and spirit through specialized  postures enables the ability to maintain the individual's experience of trauma.

YogaForVets continues to serve  both humans and horses with an expanded  mission that combines horse rescue

and sanctuary with healing programs.  Our hope is to improve traumatic symptoms by creating spaces in which they

can develop healthy coping strategies and interpersonal skills for real-world experiences through education and a peaceful nature-connected environment.
